After a gruelling two months that saw multiple injuries, including Saya Kamitani having to forfeit her entry on just the first day, we now know the winner of this year’s 5★STAR GP.
Suzu Suzuki defeated Maika in the finals to win the tournament. Suzuki advanced after Tam Nakano failed to defeat Natsupoi, eliminating herself from the tournament. Suzuki then faced Maika, winner of the Blue Stars block.
Maika and Suzu Suzuki make their entrances for the 5★STAR Finals.
This year’s finals marks the fourth year in a row that a member of Donna del Mondo has been in the 5★STAR GP finals. Himeka was in the 2020 finals, Syuri in 2021, Giulia in 2022 and now Maika in 2023.
Suzu Suzuki continues along her way to make true of her promise to become “the face of the pro-wrestling world”, and will challenge the winner of the World of Stardom championship match between Tam Nakano and Natsuko Tora on October 9th, electing to take her shot at the Red Belt in Osaka on November 18th at Stardom’s Gold Rush PPV.
