Suzu Suzuki: “I don’t want an apology from Tam Nakano”

The Crazy Girl has made her thoughts known on Tam Nakano’s return to SNS and her apology that came with it.

By: James Carlin

Yesterday, Tam Nakano made her first post on SNS since her knee injury in October that happened in her World of Stardom championship match against Natsuko Tora. She apologized for not being able to be a good champion until the very end and apologized to Suzu Suzuki – Suzuki was suppoed to challenge Nakano for the Red Belt at Gold Rush on November 18th before the match was cancelled. Suzuki, however, doesn’t accept the former champion’s apology.

“I’ve said this many times but I don’t want an apology from Tam Nakano. Instead of giving an apology through SNS, she should come back and face me in a singles match. By the time you’re able to make your return, I’ll be the World of Stardom champion. If you’re so annoyed by that, why don’t you come back and take the title from me?” h/t Tokyo Sports

Suzuki will be facing Hazuki tomorrow at Nagoya Big Winter in Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium, where she will put her guaranteed championship match contract for the now-vacant Red Belt on the line. The contract came as she won this year’s 5STAR GP, defeating Maika in the finals. But Maika won the Right to Challenge tournament at Korakuen Hall, meaning that if Suzuki successfully keeps her contract against Hazuki, a re-match from the Grand Prix finals will take place at Dream Queendom.
