Struggling Rian Determined To Achieve Her First Victory In The STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025

Back on June 8th, Rian accomplished a major milestone as she defeated Akira Kurogane which gave the 20 year old rising star her very first singles victory.

The win over Kurogane, earned Rian a shot at the Future Of STARDOM Championship held by Hina. While Rian gave it all she had, she was unsuccessful and went down in defeat on June 21st to Hina.

Despite losing to Hina, Rian took a major step forward in her young career as her potential to become a major player for STARDOM began to shine.

This was apparent when STARDOM named her as an entrant for the 5★STAR GP 2025 which marked her debut for the prestigious tournament.

A week before the 5★STAR GP 2025 began, Rian secured her second singles victory over Ema Maishima at STARDOM Sapporo Rendezvous 2025. Going into the tournament, Rian was riding a wave of momentum but unfortunately she rode it into a brick wall.

Rian has competed in four 5★STAR GP 2025 matches to date against Starlight Kid, Rina, Sayaka Kurara and Natsuko Tora. The rising star has lost all her tournament bouts and is currently in last place with zero points in the Red Stars – B Block. She has been officially eliminated from any chance of making it to the playoff round.

Despite being eliminated, Rian is determined to earn her first tournament win and has not given up in that quest.

Following her most recent defeat to Natsuko Tora, Rian took to social media and vowed to do whatever it takes to secure that first victory. She stated she can’t finish the tournament without a triumph.

From Rian:

Desperate to win, I considered all the options and went all out. I hung on desperately, but everything was repelled. We’re halfway there. I can’t end with zero points, and I have no intention of ending it. I’m going to bounce back from here and do whatever it takes to grab the win.I’m never going to give up, even until the very end.

The next three tournament bouts for Rian will be very tough ones as she is scheduled face AZM, Natsupoi and Tomoka Inaba. She will have to pull out all the stops if she wishes to secure her first victory in the 5★STAR GP 2025.

After being eliminated, Rian could have taken it easy and mailed it in but that doesn’t appear to be her style. Getting that first tournament victory is extremely important to Rian.

AZM, Natsupoi & Inaba would be making a huge mistake if they think Rian will be an easy two points for them. With three opportunities to earn her first victory in the tournament, Rian will be coming out fighting, and all her remaining opponents better be ready.
