Starlight Kid & Ruaka To Compete at NJPW Fantastica Mania 2024

YoungOED will go head-to-head with CMLL’s Mexican National Women’s Tag Team Champions

February 17th will see STARDOM wrestlers compete against CMLL’s women at Fantastica Mania 2024 when Starlight Kid and Ruaka face off against Las Chicas Indomables (Lluvia, La Jarochita), who are the current Mexican National Women’s Tag Team champions. This will mark the first time that STARDOM has been apart of Fantastica Mania since the shows’ inception back in 2011.

The show will also see Francesco Akira, Mascara Dorada and Mistico against Rocky Romero and El Desperado and Tiger Mask.

Last year at Lonestar Shootout, Mayu Iwatani defended her IWGP Women’s championship against Stephanie Vaquer, current CMLL World Women’s and CMLL World Women’s Tag Team champion. Momo Kohgo had also toured CMLL when she was part of Actwres girl’Z.

Many years ago STARDOM had Mexican talent touring Japan, which saw Star Fire and Mary Apache winning the High-Speed Championships as well as entering the 5STAR GP. Rossy Ogawa’s love of lucha libre was also the inspiration for the now defunct “Mask Fiesta” shows, where wrestlers would wear masks and act as luchadoras, such as Yuzupon Mask, Act Ranger, Green SayaSaya and Fantastic Girl.
