After MIRAI became the second person to win the Cinderella Tournament twice, and second to do it back-to-back, she looks to become the first to three-peat by entering this year’s Cinderella Tournament. This is the tenth edition of the tournament, first starting in 2015 as the Cinderella Champions Fiesta. Since 2021, it has been a multi-day tournament, but was originally a one-day event.
This year’s tournament looks to be very different than most, with the rumours going around of Rossy Ogawa wanting to take some of STARDOM’s stars to his new company; many big names are noticeably absent – Giulia, Utami Hayashishita, Mayu Iwatani, Syuri, Saya Kamitani – but this means opportunity has now opened up for talents lower down on the card to be focal points for the future moving forward upon winning the tournament, which is what the original iterations of the tournament were intended to be like.
