The last two winners of the tournament ended up challenging, and becoming World of Stardom champion: Syuri defeated Utami Hayashishita in 2021 to claim the gold, and Giulia defeated Syuri in 2022 to win the title, where both feats happened at the end-of-year PPV, Dream Queendom, for their respective years.
2021 was also the year that Marvelous’ Takumi Iroha was a surprise entry, and 2022 saw Risa Sera and Suzu Suzuki represent Prominence.
Last year was the first year that a qualification league was made to fill up the last three spots of the tournament, with Ami Sourei, Mai Sakurai and Saya Iida (tied) being able to participate in the tournament for winning their blocks.
