Shane Haste is set to make his second defense of the GHC Heavyweight Championship on June 25th, when he takes on White Raven Squad stablemate Tetsuya Endo at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s LEGACY RISE 2026 at Korakuen Hall.
Haste won Pro Wrestling NOAH’s top prize back on May 2nd, defeating Yoshiki Inamura at NOAH’s SPRING MAYHEM RYOGOKU 2026 to start his first reign with the championship. His first defense of the title was 11 days later on May 13th edition of LEGACY RISE 2026, where he defeated the man who brought him back into the NOAH fold, KENTA.
After Haste’s title defense against KENTA, Tetsuya Endo stepped up as the next challenger for the Heavyweight Championship, with a singles match made official for June 25th.
At a special pre-event press conference on June 24th, Haste praised Endo’s abilities and recognized the challenger’s desire to prove himself in a NOAH ring. Haste declared that since his return to NOAH he has proven himself and that he has no intention of letting go of the GHC Heavyweight Championship.
From Shane Haste:
“Endo, you’re truly amazing—handsome, and I know very well that you’ve been a champion in DDT. I understand very well your desire to prove yourself right here in the NOAH ring. But I’ve proven that I belong here in NOAH—that I am a NOAH man. I certainly like you, but I don’t know you that well. Good luck in tomorrow’s match. However, I have no intention of giving up this belt just yet.”
