Sendai Girls Invade Shinjuku FACE With a Sold Out Event, Chihiro Hashimoto Faced Spike Nishimura In The Featured Bout

On Aug. 1st, Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling invaded Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo with a sold out crowd on hand for the event.

The featured bout saw the Sendai Girls World Champion Chihiro Hashimoto face the Sendai Girls Junior Champion Spike Nishimura in a non-title encounter.

As expected, the match was very competitive. Nishimura scored a number of near falls on Hashimoto as she was looking to pull off a major upset. In the end, Hashimoto proved to be too much for the Sendai Girls Junior Champion as she ended the bout at the 12:20 with a Powerbomb that was enough to score a pinfall win over Nishimura.

After the bout, Mika Iwata appeared and got into an intense verbal battle with Hashimoto. It has been confirmed that Hashimoto will defend the Sendai Girls World Title against Iwata on Aug. 28.

In other action, Mika Iwata & Miyuki Takase defeated VENY & YUNA in a tag team encounter.
