Satoshi Kojima Interrupts Eddie Kingston’s Celebration to Issue New Challenge

The NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Eddie Kingston is still fighting for the honor of New Japan Pro Wrestling, and his next challenger will be the legendary Satoshi Kojima.

The Mad King of Sports Eddie Kingston has had a great title reign as NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion, defending it countless times and going all over the place to honor the tradition and pride of New Japan Pro Wrestling. As Kingston keeps fighting to be the champion NJPW Strong needs, a new challenger has stood in front of him, and he means business. Satoshi Kojima will be the new challenger for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship.

Kingston and Kojima have never faced each other in singles competition, but have shared the ring during Kingston’s excursion in the G1 Climax season for NJPW. The NJPW Strong brand is, no pun intended, stronger than ever with Kingston as their monarch. The Mad King will face the leader of the Bread Club and a former IWGP Champion, Triple Crown Champion, and GHC Champion. This will surely be a fight for the ages, and a tough test for Kingston.
