On Oct. 10th, Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling held it’s “WOMEN’S PRO-WRESTLING BIG SHOW IN SENDAI” at the Sendai Sun Plaza Hall. On the event, Sendai Girls fast rising star Reina Takano faced her toughest opponent to date as she battled Sareee in a singles bout.

Many fans were expecting a squash match in which Sareee with her experience would have an easy time with Takano but the super rookie had other plans.

Takano utilized her fearless intensity and natural in-ring skills which resulted in an incredible match. Sareee was very nearly pinned by Takano on a number of occasions and the rising star would not back down from Sareee. In the end, Sareee did emerge victorious via submission but Reina Takano proved that she is truly a blue chip prospect for Sendai Girls with the potential to become a future superstar.

Post match, Sareee shook Takano’s hand and spoke with the super rookie for a bit, quite possibly giving her priceless advice. Sareee was very impressed with Takano as she took to X and praised the rising star calling her a truly amazing talent.

From Sareee:

“Reina Takano. What is it about those blazing eyes and that explosive energy!!! A truly amazing talent has emerged. I hope you’ll keep pushing forward, using the kind of pro wrestling style that only you can pull off. When I see those eyes, I can’t help but have high hopes for you. Get even stronger—much, much stronger.”

Takano herself issued a statement on X and stated that she will make the words Sareee shared with her after their bout come true. It is unclear exactly what Sareee told Takano but that is between the two of them.

From Reina Takano:

I was able to fight with unwavering determination against Sareee right up until the very end. In the end, I had to tap out. That “just a little more” feels so far away. I will definitely make the words you shared with me in the ring come true. This match has given me even more dreams. I will grow stronger in the SENJO ring.”

Reina Takano only has three months of in-ring experience and she is already showing glimpses of superstardom. It will be interesting to see where she will be in her career three years from now. Odds are very good that she will be a top star for Sendai Girls and in the world of Joshi Puroresu. She already has the stamp of approval from Sareee and that is something that is not easy to receive.
