Sareee: “I wanted to fight KAIRI in a singles match, but now there’s no time left”

With KAIRI’s indefinite hiatus coming up at the end of the month, Sareee talked about her regret of not being able to wrestle KAIRI one-on-one when she returned to Japan.

The two had previously teamed together at Sareee’s second produce show, Sareee-ISM Chapter 2, facing off against Takumi Iroha and Arisa Nakajima.

Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Sareee said: “I wanted to fight KAIRI in a singles match, but now there’s no time left,” The Sun Goddess continued, “If we’re able to stand across each other in the ring (in a tag team encounter), we can communicate through wrestling – I think that on its own is worth it, and I will cherish this match (against her).

On September 8th, Sareee will be teaming with Unagi Sayaka against KAIRI and Saori Anou at All Japan Pro-Wrestling.
