Sareee Has Harsh Words For STARDOM, Saya Kamitani Responds Which Triggers Angry Comment From Sareee

The World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani came to the defense of STARDOM following harsh comments made by Sareee that was directed at the promotion. This triggered a strong response from Sareee aimed directly at Kamitani.

Sareee is set to face Ranna Yagami on June 8th at Korakuen Hall. This comes after her victory on May 31st against another young STARDOM talent Aya Sakura.

Sareee spoke with Tokyo Sports recently and according to her, STARDOM competitors are lacking in fighting spirit. Sareee had vowed to to teach real women’s wrestling to young STARDOM wrestlers beginning with Ranna Yagami on June 8th.

From Sareee:

“STARDOM is overwhelmingly lacking in the fundamental essence of women’s wrestling—the fight. The younger wrestlers especially lack it, so at Korakuen, I’ll make sure to teach Yagami that first. I wasn’t strong from the beginning either. But I was frustrated from being beaten up by my seniors, and I fought with the feeling that I’d absolutely get them in the next match. It’s because of that time that I am who I am today, and I inherited real women’s wrestling from the seniors of All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling. Now I must pass that fight on to the next generation.”

The World of STARDOM champion Saya Kamitani took exception to Sareee’s comments and responded to her via X:

From Saya Kamitani in response to Sareee:

“I’ve been thinking this for a while now. What is real women’s pro wrestling? What is real fighting? Are you trying to say that STARDOM is fake fighting or something?”

Sareee struck right back with a strong response indicating that she “needs” fight Saya Kamitani.

From Sareee to Kamitani:

“Maybe it’s about not doing the kind of farce you do! I’m begging you, champion. That’s exactly why I need to fight Saya Kamitani. Don’t you dare look down on women’s wrestling.”

Saya Kamitani had stated not too long ago that she hopes someone can step up and offer her a challenge for the World of STARDOM title.

Recently, Starlight Kid indicated she would like to face Kamitani and now Sareee is challenging her. It appears Kamitani’s wish has been granted.

Kamitani and Sareee will be on opposing sides on July 14 as the next Sareee-ISM event. It will be Sareee & Takumi Iroha vs. Saya Kamitani & Natsuko Tora.
