Being a freelancer in the world of pro-wrestling certainly has its advantages especially for superstars such as Sareee. For one, you never know which promotion she may turn up in which adds intrigue to being a freelancer.
Sareee took advantage of her freelancer status as she pulled off the unheard of feat of appearing on two major events held by Marigold and STARDOM on consecutive nights.
On Oct. 26th, Sareee was revealed as the mystery opponent for Chika Goto at Marigold’s GRAND DESTINY 2025 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan and emerged victorious.

The following night on Oct. 27, Sareee appeared at the STARDOM NIGHTER 2025 IN KORAKUEN OCT event. She teamed with Miku Kanae as they defeated Saori Anou & Yuna Mizumori.

Sareee spoke with Tokyo Sports recently and issued a statement regarding her back to back appearances for Marigold & STARDOM.
From Sareee:
“At a time when moving between these two promotions was considered unthinkable, I went out and did it. The fact that I could do this because I am at the very center of the women’s wrestling world right now has become a huge source of confidence. That’s also one of my strengths as a freelancer, and from now on, I want to keep doing things that make people say, ‘Wait, that’s impossible!’”
In addition, Sareee touched upon if she would be returning to a Marigold ring after making her first appearance for the promotion in over nine months on Oct. 26th. Sareee indicated that she would love to have another match with Marigold superstar Mayu Iwatani.
From Sareee:
“I don’t know, but if an offer comes, I’ll think about it then. I am very interested in the fact that Mayu Iwatani has joined Marigold. She is the only one in the women’s pro wrestling world who started at the same time as me. Of course, the feeling of wanting to fight her is there.”
Another singles match between Sareee and Iwatani would be a bout the fans would greatly desire.
Iwatani appears to be the next challenger for Takumi Iroha’s GHC Women’s Championship. Should Iwatani win the GHC Women’s Title, a defense against Sareee would be one of epic proportions.
