Saori Anou Looks To Become The First Ever Three Time Wonder of STARDOM Champion

The Wonder of STARDOM Championship has been a major title within STARDOM since July 2011. Numerous top stars have held the prestigious white belt during its fourteen years of existence including Mayu Iwatani & Tam Nakano.

Throughout the history of the Wonder of STARDOM title nobody has held the title three times, numerous have held it twice but there has never been a three time reign.

On July 21st, Saori Anou will be looking to make history as the first ever three time Wonder of STARDOM Champion, Anou will challenge current champion Starlight Kid at the Sapporo Rendezvous 2025 event. This will be Kid’s fifth title defense since winning the white belt back on Dec.2024.

Anou spoke with Tokyo Sports recently and commented on her desire to be the first competitor ever to be called a three time Wonder of STARDOM Champion.

“The Wonder of STARDOM belt made me shine the brightest. That’s why I want to win it again in Hokkaido, the place where I lost it last year. And since no one has ever worn this belt three times before, I want to wear it this time and carve Saori Anou’s name into STARDOM’s history.”

Anou knows that she will make STARDOM history should she be victorious on July 21st and strap the white belt around her waist to enter into her third reign. To accomplish this, she must get past Starlight Kid which will be not an easy task. Kid by no means wants to be the competitor that gives Anou her record breaking third reign as the Wonder of STARDOM Champion.
