SANADA Gets Knocked Out by EVIL

The IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA is absolutely out of place, and the recent KO loss he had is proof of EVIL’s apparent dominance.

SANADA’s victory over “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada seems like a far cry already. EVIL is making his life a living hell, and not only he stole the belt from the reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, but he knocked him out in front of his adoring fans. The rivalry between House of Torture and Just Five Guys – waiting for a new member to be announced at Ryogoku – has been New Japan Pro Wrestling’s main chapter on the road to the Tokyo Dome, but no one expected HOT to have the champ down to his knees. SANADA must take action and defend his honor as the IWGP Champion, and the man that defeated Okada when no one could do it. EVIL is a former IWGP Intercontinental Champion and IWGP Heavyweight Champion, but the man that currently holds the top prize in Japanese wrestling seems out of it completely thanks to his shenanigans.

The IWGP World Champion must be really prepared to defend his belt, because right now he doesn’t feel like the right man to hold the big one. The Tokyo Dome Main Event will be either SANADA or EVIL against Tetsuya Naito, but we think it would be 100% better to see a title match between SANADA and Naito, rather than seeing another match between Naito and EVIL. We hope the champ wakes up in time and doesn’t get humilliated by his former partner and current rival.
