Rossy Ogawa Issues a Statement On MARIGOLD SHINE FOREVER 2026 2nd Anniversary Event

By: Lewis Carlan

On May 23rd, Marigold celebrated it’s two year anniversary with MARIGOLD SHINE FOREVER 2026 at the Ota City General Gymnasium. There was an announced crowd of 1,230 on hand for the event.

At MARIGOLD SHINE FOREVER 2026, Utami Hayashishita competed in her last match for Marigold as she has officially departed the promotion. Hayashishita teamed with Takumi Iroha & Maddy Morgan and they faced Miku Aono, Mai Sakurai & MIRAI as she bid farewell to Marigold.

Mai Sakurai spoiled Hayashishita final bout with Marigold by scoring a pinfall over her following a running powerbomb to win the match for her team.

In addition, Chika Goto and Kouki Amarei became the new Marigold Twin Star Champions by defeating Misa Matsui & CHIAKI.

Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa took to X and commented on Chika Goto & Kouki Amraei’s championship victory and Utami Hayashishita.

From Rossy Ogawa:

“What did you think of the Marigold 2nd Anniversary Tournament? Twin Towers finally achieved their long-held dream of winning the Tag Team Championship. Their gritty determination is what makes them so appealing. Utami Hayashishita fought through her final match. I’m proud to say she’s a wrestler I’ve nurtured over the past eight years since her debut. You decide what to believe in!” (English translation via Deepl.com)

While Marigold has been dealing with injuries, departures and declining attendance, Rossy Ogawa and the entire Marigold roster remain positive about the future of the promotion.
