Rian States She Will Show A New Side Of Herself, Is Set To Challenge Hina For The Future Of STARDOM Title

On June 8th at the “STARDOM IN KORAKUEN 2025 JUN.” event, Rian defeated Akira Kurogane in just over nine minutes. This win for Rian marked a huge accomplishment for the rising star as it was the first time she was victorious in a singles match. It took her one year and two months, but Rian finally can say she holds a victory in a singles encounter.

The win for Rian has earned her a shot at the current Future of STARDOM champion Hina. The title match between the two is set for June 21st at the STARDOM THE CONVERSION 2025”  PPV. The championship bout was made official at the June 10th STARDOM press conference.

During the press conference, Rian, who is a member of the E neXus V faction, indicated that with the momentum she has following her first win, she plans on showing a new side of herself. She vowed to be the first among the current young STARDOM talents to win the Future of STARDOM Title.

From Rian:

“After 1 year and 2 months since my debut, I was finally able to achieve a victory on my own. With this momentum, I will show a new side of myself. I have a promise with Shirakawa-san, and I’ll do my best to support E neXus V, even for the sake of Maika-san and Xena-san who couldn’t participate. Among the young talents here, I will be the first to wrap the Future belt around my waist.”

The Future of STARDOM Champion Hina weighed in during the press conference and stated she has high expectations for her defense against Rian on June 21st.

From Hina:

“We are just friends who fight together, but only Rian’s wrestling style can be controlled by Rian, so I want her to wrestle for herself. Because it’s been hard to win, you might be wondering if this is right, if this is wrong, or if this is the right answer, but if Rian thinks it’s the right answer, then be confident. I have high expectations.”

Getting her first singles win on June 8th was definitely the boost Rian needed to help build her confidence as a competitor. It will be interesting to see if she can ride this wave of momentum through June 21st and win her first singles championship when she challenges Hina at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium #2.
