OZAWA Claims Nobody Wants Tetsuya Endo, Not Even DDT Pro-Wrestling

By: Lewis Carlan

The feud between the Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA and DDT Pro-Wrestling star Tetsuya Endo appears to be far from over.

The two recently met in a triple threat GHC Heavyweight Championship bout on June 3rd that included Takashi Sugiura. OZAWA was victorious only with the help of Sugiura who turned his back on Endo and joined Team 2000X.

Endo, who had the Korakuen Hall crowd solidly behind him, was very close to dethroning OZAWA but the odds stacked against him proved to be too much.

OZAWA is aware that Endo wants another opportunity at the GHC Heavyweight Championship. As he is still perceived a threat, OZAWA has continued to play mind games with Endo.

Ahead of their June 7th tag team match in which OZAWA teams with Sugiura to face Endo & Shuji Kondo, a shot was fired by the GHC Heavyweight Champion.

OZAWA has claimed that nobody wants anything to do with Endo, not even the promotion he is signed to, DDT Pro-Wrestling.

From OZAWA:

No, looking at Sanshiro Takagi’s Twitter, he often reposts MAO’s latest updates, but he never does anything about Tetsuya Endo. Looks like he’s not needed by DDT either. Tetsuya Endo has always been alone.

At the start of the year, Endo announced that despite being signed to DDT Pro-Wrestling, he was going to compete exclusively in Pro Wrestling NOAH throughout 2025.

Endo initially joined OZAWA’s Team 2000x faction but left after a falling out. While he is a former GHC National Champion, Endo would love to gain possession of NOAH’s top title.

To win the GHC Heavyweight Championship, Endo, of course, needs to dethrone OZAWA and that has been proven to be very, very difficult. Nonetheless, expect Endo to get another opportunity at OZAWA’s belt in the near future.
