Natsupoi Names The Opponent She Hopes To Face In The STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 Finals

On Aug 17th, Natsupoi faced Starlight Kid in a crucial STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 tournament match. The two rivals squared off in the final Red Stars B Block bout at a sold out Act City Hamamatsu Exhibition Event Hall #2.

It was a do or die match for Natsupoi and Starlight Kid as the winner would move on to the next round while the loser would be eliminated from the competition. The last singles match the two superstars was back on Dec. 24, 2024 when Starlight Kid defeated Natsupoi for the Wonder of STARDOM Title. At the 10:39 mark of their Aug. 17th match, Natsupoi connected with her Fairy Magic finisher on Starlight Kid to secure a victory and avenge her loss from Dec. 2024.

With the win, Natsupoi finished with 10 points and ended up in first place of the Red Star B Block. With her first place finish, she automatically qualified for the quarter-finals set for Aug. 20th. Natsupoi will face the winner of the Bea Priestley/Rina playoff bout.

With her confidence at a raised level, Natsupoi spoke with Tokyo Sports and mentioned who she would like to face in the STARDOM 5★STAR GP finals should she make it that far. Her first choice would be Saori Anou, who herself finished atop the Blue Stars A Block.

“I want to face Saori (Anou), who I promised to meet in the final, and Sareee too. On top of that, I want to stand at the top and wear the red belt, the symbol of the promotion.”

Natsupoi, who recalled starting from the bottom, mentioned she wants to challenge for the Red Belt again after losing to current champion Saya Kamitani in July 2025. She knows to do that, she has to win the tournament and earn that right.

“My whole life up until now, I’ve struggled to get back up. It was really disappointing, but I’m glad it was the beginning. I really want to challenge for the (red) belt right now. To that end, I’ll win the league and be the first to wear the red belt.” (Via Google translate)

Natsupoi’s quest to reach the STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 semi-finals then finals begins on Aug 20th and standing in her way will be either Bea Priestley or Rina. Natsupoi has a goal of wearing the World of STARDOM Championship belt around her waist. She has the talent to do it and needs to prove it beginning on Aug. 20th at Korakuen Hall.
