Natsuko Tora Wants Giulia’s NJPW STRONG Women’s Title

Natsuko Tora has declared her intentions for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship

After defeating Miyu Amasaki and Lady C at Supreme Fight 2024 today, XL went backstage where Natsuko Tora said that she wishes to challenge Giulia for her title.

In the interview area, Tora stated:

Starlight Kid was facing off against Saori Anou in the last few weeks and is fighting her tonight. Watching her against Anou made me realize that I wanted to challenge for a title too.  So, Giulia – I want your STRONG championship. This is a deal that’s already done.

If Giulia accepts the challenge from Tora, it will be her nineth defence of the championship; the Dangerous Queen has defended the belt overseas multiple times as well as in a STARDOM ring back in Japan, and has held the belt for 214 days after defeating AEW’s Willow Nightingale to become champion in July last year.

Oedo-Tai’s leader is not the only one who wants the STRONG Women’s belt, as Thekla, who made an appearance on commentary during Giulia’s match, said that she has been eyeing the title for a while, and hinted that she may also be challenging for it in the near future.
