Momo Watanabe Reigns As STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 Winner Plus Complete Results

The situation in the STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 for Momo Watanabe wasn’t looking good back on Aug 16th. She had lost her last three tournament matches and had been stuck at eight points since Aug 6th. She was able to find her way into the 5★STAR GP 2025 playoff round with a little help from Hina who defeated HANAKO on Aug. 17th, the final night of block action, to enable Watanabe to advance to the next round.

On Aug. 20th, Watanabe entered the playoff round firing on all cylinders as she defeated Ami Sourei to move on to a quarter-final showdown with hated rival Sareee. Sareee had defeated Watanabe on Aug 16h but Watanabe was not to be denied on Aug 20th as she emerged victorious after hitting her Peach Sunrise finisher to punch her ticket to the semi-finals.

In front of a sold out crowd of 2,856 at the Ota City General Gymnasium on Aug. 23rd, Watanabe carried her momentum into the semi-finals and scored a victory over Saori Anou which led to a showdown against AZM in the 5★STAR GP 2025 finals. In match that had everyone in attendance on the edge of their seats with incredible back and forth action, Watanabe defeated AZM at the 21:11 mark with her patented Peach Thunder to win the 5★STAR GP 2025 tournament.

Momo Watanabe had this message following her 5★STAR GP 2025 victory and it appears she will make us wait to find out which title she wishes to challenge for:

“Right now, I’m not in a hurry to decide which title to challenge for. I won’t say that right now. But STARDOM, and this Japan, and America or Mexico, I don’t care, all you people holding belts all over the world, this Momo Watanabe is coming for you, so get ready and wait for me. Just listen up! From now on, it’s the era of this Momo Watanabe! You bastards better get excited and wait for it!”
