TJPW Yes! Wonderland ‘23 in Korakuen Hall saw Princess of Princess Champion Mizuki defend her title against an opponent like none other in Sawyer Wreck. The American independent wrestler is a connoisseur of rampant violence in wrestling, and her light tube deathmatch against Hikari Noa proved what she’s all about in the eyes of TJPW fans. Last night, it was up to Mizuki to stop her.
The Popping Sugar Rabbit, standing at 157 centimeters, went ahead undaunted and unintimidated against the 188 centimeters tall challenger. But no amount of courage could prepare someone for Wreck’s bloodthirst. As soon as she could, she took the chance to bring the fight outside the ring and throw the champion into the rows of chairs in the crowd area.

Mizuki continued standing up and fighting back, even countering her opponent’s orchestrated attack on a pile of steel chairs. No matter how eerily destructive Wreck behaved in her attempts at crushing the champion, she managed to take her down and finish her off with a Diving Footstomp followed by a Cutie Special to bridge her way into a successful second title defense.
Wreck happily conceded defeat, raising her opponent’s hand and thanking her for the match. Cheered on by Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki expressed her joy at overcoming such a strong and tall opponent, and swore to keep defending the belt.

Fate made an interesting call, as longtime friend and rival Maki Itoh, fully encouraged by the crowd, came out to challenge Mizuki for the title. Mizuki accepted the match for July 7’s show in Ota City, before Itoh flipped her off speechless and left ringside. Will the Cutest Idol fulfill her elusive destiny?
