Mizuki Admits To Being Nervous About Upcoming Title Defense Against Yuki Arai

On July 21st, Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling will present one of it’s biggest event of the year SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25 at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo.

The event will be headlined by a Princess of Princess Championship bout as the current titleholder Mizuki will make her third defense of the belt against Yuki Arai. The match is being billed as the biggest bout of the summer.

Mizuki, who is coming off a successful title defense against Miyu Yamashita in April, is gearing up for Arai who is expected to be a very tough challenger.

With the match over a month away, Mizuki has admitted to being nervous about her next title defense but thanked the fans for their support for the champion.

From Mizuki:

“I’ve been feeling nervous and thinking about a lot of things ever since it was decided, but thanks to everyone who came to tell me “I’m cheering for you!” and “Do your best!”, I feel like I’m not alone.

Mizuki is in her 2nd reign as the TJPW Princess of Princess Champion and has been champion for 160 days as of this writing. While Arai is a former International Princess Champion, a title which she held for over a year, she has never won the top championship within TJPW.

Mizuki vs Arai has the potential to be one of the best matches of year for TJPW as these two superstars clash for the Princess of Princess Championship on July 21st.
