MICHIKO Returns to Stardom, Sets Her Sights on Giulia

MICHIKO has returned to STARDOM, and looks to take her revenge on her short-lived tag team partner.

Following Giulia’s defence of the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship against Ami Sohrei, yet another familiar face from her past emerged in front of her: MICHIKO, known back then as Andras Miyagi.

Four years ago, Andras Miyagi teamed with Stardom’s newcomer Giulia. Except the duo wouldn’t last long and Giulia would ditch her soon after to form Donna del Mondo with Maika and Syuri just a few months later.

The former Oedo-Tai member silently left Stardom by the end of February 2020, re-inventing herself as Michiko Miyagi and wrestling for numerous companies until the formation of GLEAT, becoming the forefront of their small but fierce women’s division. Now under the mononym MICHIKO she leads the unit Diamond Egoist which is made up of herself, Janai Kai, Risa Sera and Aoi.

With her surprise return to the company, MICHIKO has said that she never forgot about when Giulia left her-and to remember that. The two look to clash in the future, but not much is known about if this will be for Giulia’s STRONG Women’s Championship or for something else entirely.
