Masa Kitamiya Promises To Be A Champion The Next Time Pro Wrestling NOAH Returns To His Hometown Of Toyoma

By: Lewis Carlan

On June 8th, Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Masa Kitamiya returned to his hometown of Toyoma as the promotion held Sunny Voyage 2025 at Takaoka Ecool Hall.

For his homecoming, Kitamiya teamed with Kaito Kiyomiya as they faced Naomichi Marufuji & Tetsuya Endo in the main event. Kitamiya enjoyed a successful return as he and Kiyomiya were victorious over Marufuji and Endo.

At the 19:18 mark, Kitamiya landed a diving senton on Endo to secure the three count and electrify the Toyoma crowd.

Following his win, Kiyamiya promised to return next time with a title to make his hometown fans proud.

During the backstage post-match interviews, Masa Kitamiya thanked Kiyomiya and everyone in attendance.

From Masa Kiyamiya:

“Thanks to Kiyomiya and everyone tonight. Next time, I want to return with something meaningful.”

While he is a seven time GHC Tag Team Champion, Masa Kitamiya has never held a singles title in Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Kitamiya’s Toyoma homecoming will air on Wrestle Universe on June 10th via VOD.
