Marvelous Star Riko Kawahata Uses Newly Won Twin Star Titles To Take Jab At Marigold

For over a month now, Marigold and Marvelous have been engaged in a rivalry between the two promotions with each trying to prove its superiority over the other.

On May 10th, Marvelous won a major battle against Marigold to gain an advantage in what is slowly turning into a full fledged inter-promotional war.

The Marvelous team of Riko Kawahata & Maria a.k.a. Magenta defeated Nanae Takahashi & Seri Yamaoka to become the new Marigold Twin Star Champions. Kawahata put Yamaoka away with a
moonsault press to secure the titles.

This was a major blow to Marigold as one of it’s top titles is now in possession of a Marvelous team.

Kawahata didn’t hold back on social media as she proceeded to taunt Rossy Ogawa and Marigold as she posted a picture of the Twin Star Titles inside a Marvelous ring with a laugh emoji attached to the post.

Seri Yamaoka, who fell victim to Kawahata’s moonsault responded to the post with one word – “regrettable”.

It’s a safe bet that Rossy Ogawa is hoping a team is able to come together soon and bring the Twin Star Championship back to his Marigold promotion.
