Kaito Kiyomiya Promises To “End” OZAWA At STAR NAVIGATION 2025 On May 18th

The feud between Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA and his May 18th challenger Kaito Kiyomiya is heating up.

There have been a number of preliminary tag team matches which OZAWA and Kiyomiya have participated in that are leading up to their showdown at STAR NAVIGATION 2025 in Korakuen Hall.

Both competitors have earned victories in the preliminaries as OZAWA and Kiyomiya try to build momentum heading towards the GHC Heavyweight Championship bout.

On May 10th, OZAWA, Daga & Owadasan defeated Kaito Kiyomiya, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura in an encounter that saw OZAWA pin Alejandro for the victory. Following the match, OZAWA declared to the crowd that if Kiyomiya loses to him on May 18th, he must leave NOAH.

It is not clear whether this stipulation has been approved by NOAH officials as there is no indication of it on the Pro Wrestling NOAH website. The stipulation has been mentioned on NOAH’s English X account but it doesn’t mention if it’s official for the match.

Kiyomiya addressed OZAWA’s seemingly unofficial stipulation. On May 11th, Kiyomiya teamed with Manabu Soya & YO-HEY as they defeated OZAWA, Daga & Tadasuke. Following the victory, Kiyomiya had backstage comments aimed at OZAWA.

From Kaito Kiyomiya:

“OZAWA says I’ll have to leave NOAH if I lose at Korakuen? Not a single fan wants that. As champion, you don’t say stuff like that. He’s just a selfish jerk playing to his own satisfaction.

But me? I’m here to make the fans happy. So at Korakuen, I’m going to end him.”

This will be the fifth defense of the GHC Heavyweight Championship by OZAWA as he attempts to prevent Kaito Kiyomiya from becoming a four time holder of the top title in NOAH.

NOAH Star Navigation 2025 (English commentary) will air live on Wrestle Universe on May 18th.
