Marvelous Faces Marigold In Elimination Tag Match At Korakuen Hall

Marvelous and Marigold continue the interpromotional rivalry that began this spring. The score is currently in favor of the company led by Chigusa Nagayo, but Rossy Ogawa’s company wants to take advantage of the summer to even the score.

Marvelous confirmed that there will be a 5-on-5 elimination match between the two companies on August 8 at Korakuen Hall. Team Marvelous will be represented by Marigold Magenta’s Twin Star Champions (Maria and Riko Kawahata), Mio Momono, Ai Houzan, and Senka Akatsuki. Team Marigold will be represented by Marigold World Champion Utami Hayashishita, Miku Aono, Victoria Yuzuki, Kouki Amarei, and Seri Yamaoka.

A possible title challenge could emerge after this match. It’s also worth noting that this match will take place during DREAM STAR GP 2025, where, in addition to the Marigold wrestlers, Akatsuki will be competing on behalf of Marvelous.
