On June 16th, the finals to Pro Wrestling NOAH’s NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE 2026 took place at Korakuen Hall. There were 1,009 fans in attendance to witness A Block winners Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows take on the winners of B Block, Manabu Soya and Yuki Iino, to crown the tournament champions and the next challengers for the GHC Tag Team Titles.
The Good Brothers reached the finals of the tournament by defeating Los Tranquilos de Japon on June 7th, while Soya and Iino captured their spot in the finals after defeating OZAWA and Tadasuke in a must win situation on June 13th.
Both tag teams came into the finals with different levels of experience working with one another. The Good Brothers have won championships all over the world and have teamed up hundreds of times over the past decade, with their opponents Soya and Iino only wrestling 15 matches together as a tag team.
The two teams threw down in the main event at Korakuen Hall in a hard-hitting back-and-forth match, that saw Soya and Iino use their passion for Pro-Wrestling to topple the more experienced team of Gallows and Anderson. Soya and Iino secured the victory after hitting their Jonetsu IS finisher onto Anderson to become the winners of the 2026 NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE.
After the match, GHC Tag Team Champions Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI entered the ring, with BUSHI sporting a mask with a double mohawk to seemingly mock Soya and Iino’s hairstyle. The champions congratulated the tournament winners and declared them as the next challengers for their titles, with a match being made official for June 25th at LEGACY RISE 2026.
Soya took to social media after the victory, responding to some of LTJ’s comments to them after their tournament victory and declared that he and Iino will be taking the tag team championships next week at Korakuen Hall.
From Manabu Soya via X:
“Next up is the GHC Tag Team Championship belt!! Naito, I’m taking that belt from you and BUSHI!! June 25!! Let’s do this at the next Korakuen Hall show!! P.S. Naito: I’m definitely not sleeping with that trophy!! P.S. BUSHI: Forget the mask—I’m going to style your real hair into a double mohawk!! Anyway, I’m going all out to win it!!”

Elsewhere on the card, the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team titles were on the line with champions Dragon Bane and Alejandro defeating Team NOAH’s Atsushi Kotoge and Hajime Ohara. The champions picked up the victory in just under sixteen minutes, following a roll up by Alejandro onto Ohara to secure their third defense of the titles.
