The All Star Junior Festival, organized by Hiromu Takahashi, proved to be a massive success, and a milestone for junior heavyweights across 22 different promotions.
Legendary junior Jushin “Thunder” Liger opened the show and stayed for commentary. He expressed his thorough enjoyment of the festival, comparing it to his original conception of the Super J-Cup.

“Watching from the first match all the way to the main event, I think this is how pro wrestling should be. It was like a toy box spread all over the place,” gushed Liger, “I feel like it has potential. This was not the goal. It was a start. It would be interesting to do this event in multiple ways.”
Liger suggested bringing the tournament back in different capacities, such as having an actual trophy or championship on the line, or focusing around a certain rivalry.

The 11-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion expressed that the strength of all juniors lies in their agile body of work, “It’s amazing,” he claimed, being hopeful for the future of the division.
