Konami Plans To Return To Wrestling if She Can Win the White Belt

Konami has said that she will return to wrestling, but only if she can become Wonder of Stardom champion.

Back in December 2021, the Submission Sniper had her last match as a full-time performer in a match with Giulia that was not only incredible, but paid tribute to a friend of theirs gone too soon. Since then, she has made sporadic appearances in Stardom as part of Syuri’s unit God’s Eye, but a recent falling out with MIRAI over the membership of Saki Kashima has led to a Wonder of Stardom title match between the two.

Now, one and a half years later, Konami has announced that she plans on returning to wrestling fully once again after the September 3rd Hiroshima PPV, on the condition that she can defeat MIRAI for the White Belt.

The odds are stacked against her, however, as she is 0-3 in Wonder of Stardom title matches – losing to Kairi Hojo, Arisa Hoshiki and Giulia for the belt in 2017, 2019 and 2020.

The former Oedo-Tai member is never one to disappoint, and she could end up walking out of her hometown as the 20th holder of the Wonder of Stardom championship.
