Pro Wrestling NOAH celebrated the second phase of their Victory Challenge Tag League today, and the Main Event of this show was the team of Kaito Kiyomiya & Ryohei Oiwa against Kenoh & Yu Owada. The interesting part of this was the way Kenoh and Kiyomiya’s rivalry was represented by the work of their kouhais in Owada and Oiwa. For most of the match, both Kiyomiya and Kenoh tried to tap out the other Kouhai, but neither of them gave them that pleasure.

The match was a hard-hitting bout, as always in NOAH, but what really made it interesting was the dynamic between the four men, and how this match could be considered a glimpse into the future of the Ark, with Owada having one of his best performances and Oiwa still growing as a competitor. The match went to a time-limit draw of 20 minutes, but the crowd erupted with applause for each wrestler, especially for Owada.
After the match, and based on PKDX’s report Kenoh took the microphone as always and got to speak to the crowd. He was angry and certainly frustrated by this draw, but he took the time to cheer for Owada:
After Kenoh’s battle cry, Owada was given the microphone, and he said that while he didn’t win, he didn’t lose either. He promised Kenoh that they were going to win the Victory Challenge Tag League and thanked the crowd for their constant support.
