Katsuhiko Nakajima has turned the world of AJPW upside down! After demanding a Triple Crown championship match against reigning champ Yuma Aoyagi on Halloween, officials have now granted Nakajima his wish.
On November 5th in Sapporo, Katsuhiko Nakajima and Yuma Aoyagi will face off in their first-ever singles match, with Aoyagi’s triple crown championship on the line!

Ahead of their encounter in four days time, Nakajima took part in an exclusive interview with AJPW where he delivered a strong, stark message to his Aoyagi and the Japanese wrestling world: “I don’t know why All Japan Pro Wrestling, which has such a deep and long history, is in this position. I don’t understand. So when I become the Triple Crown champion, everything, the landscape of Japanese professional wrestling will change forever.”
We’re yet to hear comments from Yuma Aoyagi in retaliation to Nakajima’s promise. But we know Katsuhiko Nakajima has already started playing mind games with the members of Zennichi Shin Jidai. On the 21st of October, Nakajima appeared at Korakuen Hall, goading Kento Miyahara and the champ after their outstanding Triple Crown match.
Then, let’s not forget that back in February, Nakajima and Aoyagi faced off other on opposite sides of the ring, as part of the epic AJPW vs. NOAH six-man tag match at Keiji Muto Grand Final. Whatever the outcome we can’t wait to see what this next chapter between the two will turn out like!
