In shocking fashion, Katsuhiko Nakajima kick-started his new venture into All Japan Pro Wrestling by defeating the no longer reigning Triple Crown Champion, Yuma Aoyagi.
The 28-year-old fought the fight of his life, but it was not enough for this new Nakajima who was hungry and determined to take out Aoyagi for good. Nakajima shocked the All Japan fans with this victory, and now the fate of this company is a question that’s left unanswered.

After this fantastic match, All Japan’s Ace Kento Miyahara confronted Nakajima, and the upcoming scenario is something fans have been asking for since their One Night Dream match of the year candidate. Miyahara looked at Nakajima with hate and resentment. After all, Nakajima appeared to humiliate Kento on his own home turf, so things are really heating up between the two.
Miyahara is no stranger to this prestigious prize. He stands as a 6-times Triple Crown champion, with 1453 days combined. In All Japan, there’s no one as good as Miyahara, and Nakajima will have to fight with his 120%. We can say the inevitable title match between him and Nakajima will steal the show, but should be contested in a bigger venue than Korakuen Hall. Especially considering the hype it got for being the very first time both men met each other inside the squared circle.
Nakajima promised to change Japanese professional wrestling and bring All Japan back to its glory days. As Triple Crown champion, he has to carry a company that’s still alive thanks to the blood, sweat, and tears of Miyahara, the man who stands in his way to be the best Triple Crown champion. Now, Miyahara has the heroic task of taking All Japan’s biggest prize from the outsider Nakajima, who has shown he doesn’t care about who he needs to kick in the head to thrive and prevail.
Katsuhiko Nakajima vows to change the landscape of Japanese wrestling forever
What we know already, is that in this week and so, Nakajima has been able to become the monster we all knew he could be, thanks to his run as GHC Heavyweight Champion in Pro Wrestling NOAH during 2021. The “Genius of the Kick” is not just a cool moniker, but a way for Nakajima to mark the line and raise the bar like none other.
