Kaito Kiyomiya and OZAWA React to Ryohei Oiwa’s G1 Climax 36 Victory

On August 16th, Pro Wrestling NOAH star Kaito Kiyomiya took to social media following former partner Ryohei Oiwa‘s G1 Climax 36 victory to share a cryptic message ahead of his participation in this year’s N-1 VICTORY tournament.

Hours after Ryohei Oiwa defeated Yuya Uemura to win NJPW’s G1 Climax 36, Kiyomiya posted a short message to his X account.

“I guess it’s my turn next.”

With NOAH’s N-1 VICTORY tournament starting in less than a month, it would appear that Kiyomiya is referring to the tournament in his post on X.

The history between Kaito Kiyomiya and Ryohei Oiwa dates back to 2023 when the two spent almost a year teaming together during Oiwa’s excursion to Pro Wrestling NOAH. Kiyomiya and Oiwa competed in both the NJPW World Tag League in 2023 and NOAH’s Victory Challenge Tag League in 2024. The cross-promotional duo reunited in June of 2025 in a losing effort against Naomichi Marufuji and Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW’s Tanahashi Jam.

NOAH’s resident Real Rebel OZAWA also took to X following Oiwa’s victory to post the exact same message as Kiyomiya.

One could speculate that OZAWA is poking fun at Kiyomiya’s post, which came two hours earlier. However, there could be some weight behind his similar wording. During last year’s N-1 VICTORY, OZAWA was injured in his first match of the tournament, halting his momentum and putting him on the sidelines for three months.

OZAWA also has a history with Oiwa. Having been a part of NJPW’s Dojo system before joining Pro Wrestling NOAH, OZAWA and Oiwa faced off as Young Lions in a tag match on the pre-show of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 In Yokohama Arena. Exactly one year later, the two faced each other in a singles match at NOAH Sunny Voyage 2024.

Regardless of what OZAWA and Kiyomiya were referring to on X, both NOAH stars will have the opportunity to “make it their turn” when they compete in Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 VICTORY 2026. The tournament begins on September 12th at Korakuen Hall.
