The All Japan Pro-Wrestling “RAISING AN ARMY MEMORIAL SERIES 2026” tour continued on Oct. 11 as a crowd of 2,157 fans filled the Sendai Sun Plaza Hall for the event.

The featured bout saw Jun & Rei Saito making the third defense of their third reign as the AJPW World Tag Team Champions against Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai. Jun & Rei Saito have been dominating the AJPW tag team division for the past few years but Yuma Anzai & Yuma Aoyagi were hoping to be the team to bring their third reign to a screeching halt.

The two Yuma’s have teamed before in the past with some success. They had unsuccessfully challenged then AJPW World Tag Team Champions Oddyssey & Xyon for the belts exactly one year ago today. Anzai & Aoyagi were hoping their latest tag team title opportunity would produce different results.

As expected, the match was a highly competitive, hard fought encounter that took place inside and outside the ring. The fans were very vocal throughout as they appeared to be evenly split in their support for both tag teams.

Down the stretch, Aoyagi very nearly pinned Jun Saito but Saito was able to kick out at the very last moment to prevent a title change. After a frenzy of action, it was Jun & Rei Saito hitting their Yagiyama Cyclone, which is a power bomb/chokeslam combo, on Aoyagi for the win and ended the match at the 31:32 mark.

Jun & Rei Saito had a in-ring celebratory toast after their hard fought victory.

The Saito Brothers will now head into the upcoming AJPW “REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2026” which kicks off on Nov. 15th as the champions.
