GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA Set To Defend Title Against KENOH On July 19th, KENOH Vows To Dethrone OZAWA

The GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA has his next challenger and it comes in the form of Pro Wrestling NOAH megastar KENOH.

Following his victory with Kiyomiya over KENTA & Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH’s the 25TH Anniversary MEMORIAL VOYAGE 2025 IN OSAKA event, KENOH called out OZAWA who was more than happy to respond. OZAWA joined KENOH in the ring as KENOH challenged him for the GHC Heavyweight Title, which was accepted by OZAWA.

Pro Wrestling NOAH quickly made the match official as OZAWA will defend his GHC Heavyweight Championship against KENOH on July 19th at NEW DEPARTURE Day 1 in Korakuen Hall.

During his post match backstage interview on June 21st, KENOH talked about his GHC Heavyweight Title opportunity and vowed to dethrone OZAWA and regain NOAH’s top belt.

From KENOH:

“On July 19th at Korakuen, I will seize the top of NOAH for the 25th anniversary. I will win the GHC Heavyweight title. I will take it from OZAWA. Today in Osaka was great, but I will create an even better atmosphere. For 25 years, 26 years, and 27 years, NOAH will continue on. I, KENOH, will lead the way, so follow me.”

KENOH also took to social media and responded to NOAH’s official announcement for his title opportunity.

From KENOH:

“I’ll teach OZAWA how to wrestle and how to attract customers! And then I’ll win! I’m going to become the GHC Heavyweight Champion at Korakuen Hall on July 19th!”

KENOH is a three time former GHC Heavyweight Champion and hopes to claim it for reign number four on July 19th. This will be OZAWA’s seventh defense of the title he won back on Jan. 1 when he defeated Kaito Kiyomiya.
