Gabe Kidd States At NJPW Dominion He Will Defeat Yota Tsuji And Lead NJPW Into The Future

By: Lewis Carlan

At New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Dominion, which is set to begin in a few hours, Yota Tsuji will put his IWGP Global Championship on the line for the fourth time against Gabe Kidd. This is a rematch of their Feb. 11th bout that ended in a double KO.

The fans at Osaka Jo Hall will be expecting an all out war for the IWGP Global Championship as both warriors will be going all out to claim a victory over the other.

A press conference was held today as Tsuji and Kidd had an opportunity to get into it verbally ahead of their title match.

Kidd, as expected, pulled no punches as he unleashed a verbal assault during the press conference.

From Gabe Kidd:

“Tomorrow, we’ll see who really leads New Japan into the future and it’s me. I don’t care what the official main event is, people know what the real main event is. (When asked about his game plan) I don’t give away my strategy. All I know is that tomorrow, I will be the IWGP Global Champion. This isn’t just for the IWGP Global title, this match is about who’s really at the forefront, who is the future of this company. And it’s nobody else but me.”

Tsuji remained mainly calm during the press conference and offered these comments:

“Tomorrow with Gabe, I will show the whole world why New Japan is the best there is. (Regarding which bout is the main event) “Let the people decide after watching our match.”

Tsuji stated if this match with Kidd ends in another draw like their Feb. 2025 bout, he will vacate the IWGP Global Championship.
