Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura Retain KO-D Tag Team Titles, New Challengers Materialize Plus Full DDT Pro Event Results

DDT Pro-Wrestling held it’s latest event, “LOVE LETTER FROM ME 2025” at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Club eX in Tokyo.

The current KO-D Tag Team Champions Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura A.K.A Astronauts put their titles up for grabs as they faced the duo of Akito & Yuya Koroku.

Akito and Koroku came ready and they put in a tremendous effort as they attempted to dethrone Abe & Nomura for the tag titles. Unfortunately for Akito & Koroku, Abe and Nomura came ready as well and in the end, the champions retained their titles. Abe was able to lock Koroku in a small package at the 15:11 mark to secure the victory for the Astronauts.

This was the fourth successful tag team title defense for Abe & Nomura.

After the match was over, Yukio Naya appeared in the ring and challenged Abe & Nomura for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. When it was questioned who his partner would be, Naya revealed the returning Yuki Iino, who had been out of action for a few months due to fractured orbital bone.

DDT Pro-Wrestling made the match between the two teams official for June 29th at Korakuen Hall.

• Antonio Honda 20th Anniversary Debut Special Singles Match: Daisuke Sasaki defeats Antonio Honda (17:19) with a Crossface Lock
• Main Event KO-D Tag Team Title: Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura (c) defeat Akito & Yuya Koroku (15:11) after a small package from Abe against Koroku (4th defense).
