TJPW Wrestle Princess VII is just over a couple weeks away and the card is taking shape. A pair of high profile title matches have been confirmed, with two belts from outside TJPW set to be defended by two of the promotion’s icons.
Miyu Yamashita has been confirmed to be making a defence of the Pro Wrestling EVE International Championship. Having taken the belt from AEW’s Kris Statlander and successfully retaining over Kay Lee Ray over All In weekend, Yamashita’s next challenger is a fellow TJPW star. Yamashita is set to collide with Arisu Endo. The title bout will be the fourth singles match between the two, with Yamashita up 2-1 in the series, but with Endo having the most recent victory.
It was previously announced that Shoko Nakajima would be defending her SETUP All Asia Women’s Championship at TJPW Wrestle Princess VII. Now, her challenger has been confirmed. Zara Zakher is making her return to TJPW as Nakajima’s oppopnent. This bout will be Zakher’s first match in TJPW in over a year, last seen for the joshi promotion at last year’s Las Vegas event. The match will also be a first-time singles encounter between the two.
These bouts join other title matches on the card, with Haru Kazashiro and Yuki Aino set to challenge Rika Tatsumi and Miu Watanabe for the Princess Tag Team Championships, and Suzume challenging Yuki Arai for the Princess of Princess Championship.
TJPW Wrestle Princess VII takes place on October 3rd at TOKYO EBARA WAVE Arena Ota.
