El Desperado vs. Hiromu Takahashi Set For Wrestle Kingdom 18

El Desperado will challenge Hiromu Takahashi for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 18.

Today at Power Struggle following Hiromu Takahashi’s sucessful title defence against Taiji Ishimori, Takahashi nominated El Desperado for his next title defence at Wrestle Kingdom 18.

The two’s last singles match took place in last year’s Best of the Super Junior 29 final which Takahashi won, and in their last IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title match, El Desperado defeated Takahashi at Wrestle Kingdom 16.

Desperado currently leads 4-3 in one-on-one matches against the champion.
