Big Japan Pro-Wrestling announced today that on July 27th superstar Daisuke Sekimoto will make his in-ring return after being out since May 29th.
Sekimoto collapsed after his body went numb during a six man match at the BJW event on May 29th in Korakuen Hall. He was taken to the hospital via ambulance and went through a battery of tests.
With that situation now behind him, Sekimoto returns to Korakuen Hall on July 27th as he teams with So Damonji as they face the tandem of Ryuji Ito & Abdullah Kobayashi.
Sekimoto will be competing in this match as a freelancer. After being a member of the BJW roster since 2001, the four time BJW World Strong Heavyweight Champion decided to leave the promotion at the end of June and work as a freelancer.
In addition to being a four time BJW World Strong Heavyweight Champion, Sekimoto has held the BJW Tag Team Titles thirteen times. He widely considered one of the greatest BJW stars of all time.
BJW events can be viewed on BJW Core subscription streaming service.
