Daga: “I’m the Strongest Junior Wrestler in NOAH”

Daga is looking to defeat Hajime Ohara and continue to keep making history as the 2nd ever-Mexican GHC Jr. Champion.

By: R. Faliani

A contract signing was held today for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s February 4th event, with Daga as the reigning GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion confronting his challenger, Hajime Ohara. Daga, as confident as ever, said he was going to beat Ohara ‘in three minutes or less’. h/t PKDX

Daga won the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Championship in November after defeating HAYATA and since then he has proven his worth in the Ark by beating Shuji Kondo and Eita. Ohara stands now as his next challenger, but Daga has declared himself “the strongest Junior wrestler in NOAH”. On the other hand, his challenger for Sendai remembered Daga his background in Mexico, wrestling for Toryumon and the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.

Ohara promised Daga he was going to be sent to “Llave Hell”, but the Jr. Champion defiantly declared “Llave was like breakfast for him”. Ohara and Daga are going into their second singles match, and both are tied in the score. As Daga goes into Sendai as the second Mexican GHC Jr. Heavyweight Champion, following Ricky Marvin’s path, Ohara will look to channel his Lucha background and beat Daga in his own game.
