Complete Match Line-Ups For Both Nights Of NJPW Wrestling DONTAKU 2025

New Japan Pro-Wrestling will present it’s two night Wrestling DONTAKU 2025 event on May 3rd & 4th at the Fukuoka International Centre. There will be a total of 17 matches over both nights with two big IWGP title bouts and a Dog Pound Cage Match.

The main event of Night 1 on May 3rd will be a Dog Pound Cage Match between two warring factions. The War Dogs (Taiji Ishimori, Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney, Gabe Kidd & David Finlay) will take on HOUSE OF TORTURE (Yoshinobu Kanemaru, SHO, SANADA, Ren Narita & EVIL) in the cage match which is expected to be extremely brutal. The losing faction of this encounter will have to leave Bullet Club.

There has only been one other Dog Pound Cage Match in history which was contested between War Dogs and United Empire. The bout was savagely violent and fans will see a repeat of the viciousness in the second Dog Pound Cage Match on May 3rd.

On May 4th, the featured match will see the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Hirooki Goto make his fifth title defense against young Untied Empire star Callum Newman. Newman was thrust into the limelight following the NJPW departure of former fellow United Empire faction member Jeff Cobb.

Goto has been on an impressive championship win streak with 4 successful title defenses against Shota Umino, David Finlay, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Yuji Nagata. Newman has vowed recently he will defeat Goto on May 4th and become a double champion. He currently holds the IWGP Tag Team Titles with Great-O-Khan.

Both events will feature the final NJPW matches of Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI who have departed the company.

On May 4th, STARDOM will have a special match as Maika, Hazuki & Koguma face Starlight Kid, AZM & Yuna Mizumori.
