Rossy Ogawa Calls The Mayu Iwatani Signing The Best Day For Marigold And For Him

The entire world of pro-wrestling learned earlier today that Mayu Iwatani, just three days removed from STARDOM, has signed a contract with Rossy Ogawa’s Marigold.

Ogawa is celebrating his 68th birthday today and posted on X prior to the signing announcement that today would be “the best day ever”. He was correct.

Iwatani is by far the single biggest signing for Ogawa’s young promotion and he couldn’t contain his excitement about Iwatani joining the Marigold roster.

Ogawa took to X and referred to today the “best” day for Marigold and for him. He also revealed that after Iwatani was announced for the Marigold May 4th event at Korakuen Hall, tickets sold out.

“Mayu Iwatani joined Marigold. I don’t know how many photos I took with Mayu, but this was the best day for both Marigold and me. In the evening, we all gathered for a welcome party. We received a lot of cake. With Mayu’s announcement, the 5.4 tickets were sold out one after another. I hope you will come and see this memorable tournament.”

Iwatani has stated that she wants to win every title that Marigold has to offer. She begins her quest to accomplish that goal on May 4th.
