All Japan Pro Wrestling presented its “ALL JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING FESTIVAL 2026” on Aug 2nd as a sold out crowd of 880 fans packed the Tokyo Dome Tachikawa Tachihi arena for the event.
A title change occurred as the Gaora TV Champion Kuma Arashi made his second defense of the belt against Dragongate star Masaaki Mochizuki. Unfortunately for Arashi, his second defense was also his last as Mochizuki emerged victorious after hitting a Shin Saikyou High Kick and ended the match at the 14:02 mark to become the new champion.

After his victory, Mozichuki stated that he is ready to take on any challenge for his newly won title:
From Masaaki Mochizuki:
“Now that I’ve got this GAORA TV belt—now that I’ve taken it from Kuma Arashi—I’m going to skyrocket its value even more. So, anyone—bring it on. I’m tearing down all the barriers between promotions, and I’ll accept a challenge from anyone.” (Translation via Deepl.com)
In other action, the AJPW Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara & Ryuki Honda faced Yuma Anzai & Ren Ayabe in a Triple Crown preliminary bout. Miyahara is set to defend the Triple Crown against Anzai on Aug 29th.
Miyahara & Honda defeated Anzai & Ayabe after Honda hit airplane throw hold against Ayabe and pinned him to end the bout at the 13:35 mark.
During the course of the bout, Miyahara and Anzai were able to battle and give the crowd a preview of their upcoming Aug. 29th championship bout. At one point during the match, Anzai landed a flying knee to Miyahara’s jaw which, in Miyahara‘s words, caused his head to go blank.
