Asahi Signs Full Time with Actwres girl’Z

Back in March, Ice Ribbon held a press conference that announced Nao Ishikawa would not be renewing her contract and would leave at the end of the month, whilst Asahi would be on loan to Actwres girl’Z for three-to-six months.

Those six months have now come up and today announced that she had made the decision to sign a full-time with Actwres girl’Z starting on September 1st.

Asahi’s message reads:

“I would like to report to you all,
Thank you for always giving your support to Asahi.
It was announced at Ice Ribbon’s Kamata show that Asahi will be leaving the company at the end of August and will permanently transfer to Actwres girl’Z beginning in September.
This is a big decision and commitment for me to take.
I feel that I came to AWG to try and keep the promise of the talent exchange between the two organizations, which should have started this year, but only Asahi would transfer during that time.
From this day forward, I will continue to aim for the top so that many people will know the name Asahi and so I can repay AWG for giving me a place to be able to stay when I left Ice Ribbon, which I loved so dearly.
Please continue to watch the future of Asahi.
I want to continue to push for possibilities that I may not have yet in AWG, and I will do my best to gain everybody’s support.
I would like to remind everyone that I have not “retired” or “graduated” from being a professional wrestler.
Please continue to support Asahi from this day forward.
