AJPW “SUMMER ACTION SERIES 2026” Kicks Off In Yokohama With A Huge Main Event

The All Japan Pro-Wrestling “SUMMER ACTION SERIES 2026” tour kicked off on July 11th in Yokohama as a sold out crowd was on hand at the Yokohama Radiant Hall.

The tour kick off featured a huge main event that saw the current AJPW Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara team up with Yuma Anzai & Shota Kofuji as they faced Ren Ayabe, Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO. The bout served as a championship preliminary match for everyone involved. Miyahara is set to defend his Triple Crown Title against Ayabe on July 25th while Aoyagi & HAYATO will put their All Asia Tag Team Titles on the line on July 19th against Anzai & Kofuji.

In a hard fought bout, it was Ren Ayabe, Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO that was able to overcome the trio of Kento Miyahara, Yuma Anzai & Shota Kofuji. Aoyagi made a statement as he got the win over Kofuji following a La Magistral which gave him & HAYATO momentum heading into their July 19th All Asia Tag Team Title defense.

Miyahara and Ayabe went at it from the start as they exchanged many hard blows as the fans got a taste of what to expect in their upcoming AJPW Triple Crown Showdown on July 25th. The continued to battle even after the match ended.

In other action, Shotaro Ashino teamed with Dragongate star Mochizuki Masaaki as they faced Go Shiozaki & Yasutaka Yano. Masaaki was able to put away Yano with his Twister.

After the bout was over, Masaaki called out and challenged the Gaora TV Champion Kuma Arashi to a title match. Arashi agreed to give Masaaki a shot at his Gaora TV Title on a future date.

• Kuma Arashi & Yuya Aoki defeated Hokuto Omori & Towa Iwasaki (12:16) after a diving senton by Arashi against Iwasaki.
• AJPW World Tag Team Title & AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Title Skirmish: Jun Saito, Rei Saito & “Mr. Saito” Naruki Doi defeated Daisuke Sekimoto, Hideki Suzuki & Dan Tamura (11:25) after Doi’s Bakatare Sliding Kick against Tamura.
• Yuma Aoyagi defeated MUSASHI (11:25) with a La Magistral cutback.
• Shotaro Ashino & Mochizuki Masaaki defeated Go Shiozaki & Yasutaka Yano (12:45) after Masaaki’s twister against Yano.
  
• Triple Crown & All Asia Tag Team Title Skirmish: Ren Ayabe, Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO defeated Kento Miyahara, Yuma Anzai & Shota Kofuji (18:00) after a La Magistral by Aoyagi against Kofuji.
