Rea Seto Graduates To Superstar Status Following Her MVP Marigold DREAM STAR GP 2026 Performance

Rea Seto began her career on Aug. 9th 2023 and has shown great potential in her three years as a pro-wrestler. She has been a mainstay for Marigold since July 13th 2024 and is currently an integral part of the Darkness Revolution faction.

Seto participated in her first Marigold DREAM★STAR GP in 2025 and finished with only 3 points and was eliminated when the block stage had ended. Since then, she has steadily improved her in-ring skills and showed the fans the immense potential she possesses.

Rea Seto entered the Marigold DREAM★STAR GP 2026 tournament ready to show the Joshi Puroresu world that she has reached the next level of her career and the young star did not disappoint.

Seto was placed in the D Block and finished with 6 point which was enough for second place and a trip to the quarterfinals of the tournament. During the group stage, she emerged victorious over Nagisa Tachibana, Shinno & Megaton.

It was in the next round of the tournament where she really kicked it into high gear and displayed greatness. Her quarterfinal bout was against the Marigold Superfly Champion “Icon” Mayu Iwatani, who was heavily favored to win the Marigold DREAM★STAR GP 2026.

Not many fans gave Seto a chance over Iwatani but Seto proved them all wrong when she shocked Iwatani with a roll up and pinned the Icon in just over two minutes. It was a huge victory for Seto that sent her into the semifinals.

Seto’s opponent in the semifinals was the Marigold World Champion Miku Aono. It was here that many fans wondered if Seto’s time in the tournament would come to an end against the World Champion Aono. This bout lasted a lot longer than the Iwatani match and featured terrific back and forth action. Seto proved to the champion that she is now truly at the next level of her career talentwise.

Seto shocked the Joshi Puroresu world once again when she locked on a Reverse Wing Arm Lock on Aono and forced the champion to submit which ended the bout at the 11:56 mark.

Seto’s magnificent victory over World Champion Aono catapulted her into the finals against her rival Victoria Yuzuki. The finals between Yuzuki and Seto was nothing short of electrifying as the two fought their hearts out to claim the winners trophy. In the end, it was Yuzuki that defeated Seto in just over 21 minutes to claim victory.

Rea Seto has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Seto gave a stellar performance in this years DREAM★STAR GP tournament and raised her status level within Marigold and pro-wrestling as a whole.

Let it be known that on Sept. 20th, Rea Seto became a Joshi Puroresu superstar and she will become a World Champion in the future.

Marigold now has another true superstar within their ranks and her name is Rea Seto.
