One of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s up-and-coming stars, Daiki Odashima, is set to have one of the biggest matches of his career when he takes on Tetsuya Naito at Shinjuku FACE on July 8th.
Tetsuya Naito has been wrestling for NOAH since the start of the year and has only competed in one other singles match since he stepped aboard the Ark, with him facing off against OZAWA back in May. Naito is set to take on Kaito Kiyomiya at HaRENO Presents SUMMER EPIC 2026 on July 18th in Osaka, with the Uncontrollable Naito possibly considering this match with Odashima as a warm-up.

To Daiki Odashima, this is no warm-up. This is a chance for the young Jr. Heavyweight to prove himself after breaking out on his own since facing former tag team partner Daga in the LAST LESSON back in April.
Ahead of July 8th, Odashima took to social media to shed some light on how he views his upcoming match with Naito at Shinjuku FACE.
From Daiki Odashima via X:
“It’s set! I’m putting NOAH’s future on the line. I have no intention of treating this as a mere challenge match. I want to show everyone who supports me a heart-stirring fight. And above all, for my own sake too! And… I’ll fight in a way that reaches the one I made a promise to, as well. As a wrestler of PRO WRESTLING NOAH, I will win — without fail!!!”

An upset victory over Tetsuya Naito could give Odashima the confidence he needs for his upcoming 5-way ladder match at SUMMER EPIC 2026 for the right to compete in this year’s N-1 Victory.
